Did the Z9X used to have issues with DV Profile 8 RPU sync in prior firmware versions?

The below linked Dolby Vision DV support guide ("Dolby Vision Stuff") mentions that the Zidoo Z9X had issues with RPU syncing with Profile 8 DV.

Just curious if this was an issue with earlier firmware that was eventually fixed. I believe this was tested a long time ago.
