DTS audio files

For some reason the DTS (*.DTS) audio files are killing the ZMDC. It doesnt play them (actually it doesnt even start playing, it is stopped at 0:00), after trying 2-3 files it hangs, and after a while it quits. FLAC files are played fine.
The built in X9S built in player plays them fine.
I am wondering whether is a bad setup at my site or it is a ZMDC problem. The DTS file are played OK on a PC Kodi, without any extra settings required.
DTS, DD movies are played fine.
