Hi all, not sure if this is the right place to write, but here is what I have:

Getting a error popup "activation information"
I did the 1.2.4 update a few days ago with no problem. I had my zidoo x9 off for the last two days as I was watching dvd's on my blu ray player and the share the same connection to the tv. today I hooked it back to the tv and turned it on. I am getting a popup that says.

I've tried the x6 Pro. Think I'll stick to Amlogic Processor boxes. Any word yet on when the A5S box will be released and pricing?

The external disk is read-only
Hi, Zidoo tech and everyone
I used one of the file managers (xiaobai file manager) to open the box file system today and was surprised to find the external disk attached to any of the 3 usb ports was all read-only, which couldn't be assigned as the download drive. The internal memory showed normal read-and-write. This might be the season of some BT app failing to create folders on the external drive when downloading. Why and how?

I'm quite new to kodi / zdmc, and as any new user I found some annoyances I cannot pass, so let's share a bit of experience for community's benefit.
1. As many others, I have a personal collection of movies originating from torrent trackers, which are named as *per scene* requests, i.e. "Cry.of.the.Banshee.1970.THEATRiCAL.BDRip.x264-VoMiT". The same for TV series, with the usual S01E01.
Now, the problem. When it comes to adding video sources to kodi library, none of the movies...

why ZDMC and not KODI with Wrapper
why ZIDOO is making the same fault in x9s as in x6 pro and uses a changed KODI called ZDMC and is not using KODI with Wrapper
in other systems this is running perfect and then there is no need every new KODI-Version to change ZDMC

Problem with Riitek Mini i8+ bluetooth keyboard
Hello, I just got a ZIDOO X6 Pro with a keyboard Riitek Mini i8+ bluetooth.
The recognition of the keyboard by the X6 was immediate.
Scrolling with the arrows is OK.
What gives many problems is the selection button (OK): in the sense that by clicking on an app, for example, the effect is obtained to select the one of the left or that of a double click.
I have followed the manufacturer's recommendations to charge the keyboard battery to the maximum, and tried all possible settings on the TV box...

True android tv
How can I install the real android tv os?
I don't like this is since it does not do any thing related to tv in any way.
The current os is just android os for phone and tablet scaled up to big screen and that is causing the worst tv experiance ever. It's as simple as Netflix work totally difrent from my other android tv and the quality is horrible.
Hope you can guide me on how to install the actual Android TV OS

Freezing desktop menu
Hello,
my device freezes at random times only helps off switch.
Example: When turned on the screen, and the desktop controller does not respond - reboot everything works, the films shows many hours without problems, this happens 1 time out of 3 inclusions, while when the control panel is not responding, using Samba on LAN - Openwrt works fine.
When obtaining a was firmware 1.2.0.- immediately after switching on agreed update to 1.2.3 - started freezing (maybe they were in 1.2.0 - no...

Why the SATA port?
Guys,
which is, in your opini0n, the reason of the SATA port? I was looking on Amazon a case for my slim 2.5 HDD to use as NAS but I only find USB3 cases. And I see no reason to connect the HDD with the flat cable provided with X9S without a covering chassis.
But probably I'm wrong and there must be an obvious reason I can't see.

Hi all - A simple question. Where can I possibly use my zidoo x9s to see actual 4k60p content? The only place I can think of is youtube. When I watch youtube, is it possible for 4k60p videos to be processed through the zidoo x9s? what other options do I have other than home videos from really high end video camcorders? Any helps or info is greatly appreciated.
