Cast to Zidoo from phone/laptop?
Is it possible to Cast a screen from a laptop or an android phone to the Zidoo?
I've tried Miracast, EZCast, and Google Cast. All of them seem to be set up to cast FROM the Zidoo TO an Android TV or Chromecast. I'd like to do the opposite - to cast from my laptop (using the Chrome browser on Win10), or from my Android phone and have it show up on my Zidoo X5, which is plugged into my TV.
The X5 product page talks about "Easy Cast," but I don't see the app anywhere.

Hello, I need to use the zidoo recorder application do we have the source code as it is done on Github for the X9 version. I believe that it should not be the same code since we have a different processor.

Setting the buffer size works on ZDMC (Kodi)
Buffer 300Mb
Create file advancedsettings.xml with the contents:

copy this file to Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata

I received a box only today. Updated a firmware to 1.2.4. Wanted to change the HDMI mode, but didn't find the mode 2160p50 in the list. Why this mode isn't in the list?

HDD operation on Zidoo X9S
Dear Users,
I'm thinking of buying this machine, mainly because of the SATA support, because I really need HDD attached to the box.
How does Zidoo X9S handles HDD, is it always on and spinning, or there is a switch to turn on/off the HDD?
I have this question because sometimes I like to watch streaming, others watch a file stored on the HDD.
Does this box supports auto-framerate?

As you are working on a new product I have a question. ¿can this new X9S play MVC 3D files recorded with Sony 3D Camcorder HDR-TD10? Portrait Mode on Zidoo
Hi to all,
I bought the zidoo to connect video surveillance to it.
The problem is that this app for video surveillance works in portrait mode.
In landscape mode i can't select the cameras and then do not see anything.
Please help me to force portrait mode on zidoo.

Hi guys, any views about the best airmouse/keyboard remote for this device?
My research shows that Minix A2 is one of the best out there, but it seems to be optimized for Minix boxes. Does anyone have experience using it with the x9s?
Has anyone tried adding/editing the key layout file to work with this remote?
Any input on selecting the right airmouse/keyboard remote is welcome.

Getting a error popup "activation information"
I did the 1.2.4 update a few days ago with no problem. I had my zidoo x9 off for the last two days as I was watching dvd's on my blu ray player and the share the same connection to the tv. today I hooked it back to the tv and turned it on. I am getting a popup that says.
