On what settings is the 5 GHz band working?!

I've seen another thread discussing this issue, but I have another question, unanswered there.
Can you please, whoever is using the 5GHz band with his X6, to reveal the settings you are using? I am using an Asus RT AC1200G+ and X6 is only seeing the 2,4 GHz band.
I am using latest firmware and no additional wifi software installed (I considered is useless, since the device is not seeing the 5 GHz SSID).
The router is next to the player, so the distance is not an issue. I am using it with wired...

On what settings is the 5 GHz band working?!

Is there a way to disable HDMI Out? It was possible in X6 Pro with this command:

Audio Passthrough Kodi Krypton v17

I can't get audio passthrough of DTS-HD to work on Kodi Krypton v17 and Zidoo X9S. Am I doing something wrong or is it not possible in Kodi Krypton v17? Because it works just fine with ZDMC Jarvis v16!

I know it works with the wrapper solution but I also want it to work with the standard Kodi v17 player.

Audio settings in Android have been set to RAW and HDMI 2.0, in Kodi I obviously set the config level to Expert and enabled passthrough and enabled all audio formats including DTS-HD.

Frequently loosing Network connection

lately my ethernet network connection has been dropping frequently. This did not happen during the first 3 months I installed the box.

The only way I find to re-establish the connection is to switch the box off and then on.

In other boxes, there is the option to reconnect without switching off the box.

Is this possible on the X5?

Is there something I can do so that the network does not drop out so frequently?

Hello Everyone
I've received mine unit today. Design seems to be ok, as aspect, but there is no ventilation holes. I guess all the heatsinks are a little bit useless.
Ports are ok for me, as I'm not using USB sticks. I've connected just a wireless mouse (cheapoo from supermarket) and it seems to work. Remote control works also, better than I was expecting.
Menus have a lag sometimes, and it's not clear if it took the command from remote or it's the lag.
I've managed to connect it to internet...

Hi to all Zidoo team and users! This is my first post!

I have recently bought this great device and the first thing that I have checked was whether it has mirroring capabilities.

Fortunately, it does have a Miracast receiver (sink) software, which is very useful as well.

However, the most useful feature for me is to mirror to a second screen what my device shows. My device is connected to a TV through HDMI. I have another TV outdoors which I could connect to my device as well, probably...

Hello I am new to this forum I have my new Zidoo X9s from a few days ago and I have a problem when i restart the Zidoo X9s. When I reboot deleted all torrents I'm leeching from the list. Then I have to re-add them manually and the transmission has to re-check them something that takes a long time.

The unit keeps dropping wifi. updated software, tried both bands, still nothing. the worst part this is a replacement unit for one that a now a paper weight.

Sound Problem DTS HD and Dolby True HD

Hello, I have a problem with my Zidoo his X9S.
I have a sound bar that accepts LG Dolby Digital and DTS SPDIF.
So I connected my sound bar in the SPDIF Zidoo X9s and make adjustments in ZDMC.
The tracks sound in DTS and Dolby Digital are well recognized by the sound bar but the DTS HD or Dolby True HD runs out in PCM 2.0.
I also have the X6 Zidoo pro who me he converted to Dolby Digital or DTS.
I try all possible settings on X9s but nothing works.
Could you help me ?

I have a Sonos Playbar and I have connected it to my Zidoo X9S through SPDIF connection; this soundbar supports only Dolby Digital 5.1 (not DTS and HD audio).
These are the settings thai I am using:

Zidoo X9S Settings:
HDMI Output: RAW
SPDIF Output: RAW
HDMI Rx Audio Format: RAW
HDMI Rx Version: 2.0...

Portrait Mode on Zidoo

Hi to all,

I bought the zidoo to connect video surveillance to it.
The problem is that this app for video surveillance works in portrait mode.
In landscape mode i can't select the cameras and then do not see anything.
Please help me to force portrait mode on zidoo.

On/off switch for ethernet connection

Could you please add an on/off switch for the ethernet connection as was done with x6pro. When disconnecting the router and rebooting you have to reboot x9s in order to get ethernet connection. Thanks for your good job!

Setting the buffer size works on ZDMC (Kodi)
Buffer 300Mb
Create file advancedsettings.xml with the contents:
<advancedsettings>
<network>
<cachemembuffersize>314572800</cachemembuffersize>
</network>
</advancedsettings>

copy this file to Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata
Here are the results:

This functionality is in the Tronsmart and MINIX.
