Remote User Interface?

Is it possible to use X9S through a remote interface (i.e. something like webui on Dreambox) both in lan and oustide to manage NAS activities/plugin management/media center updating/... ?
Dunno if this can be done just with some specific APKs or need an inner development.

Problem with opening of the mounted folders in ZDMC

There is several NAS. Which resources I mount in the created folders on a box.
If folders are in / sdcard, their contents see only Mediacenter (Zidoo Explorer).
In ZDMC and ES Explorer these folders empty.
If to mount in the folders created in /mnt (for example, /mnt/Video), in ZDMC and ES Explorer contents are available. But then there is no opportunity to find these folders in Mediacenter (Zidoo Explorer) because they near sdcard, but not inside.
It is a problem on Zidoo. On other box there...

Audio drop outs when other user are accessing the Samba Server

Hey All,

I come across an issue with the Audio Passthrough dropping out.

1 - Setup samba server with a hard drive - SATA (I used a 4 TB drve)
2 - Use ZDMC the play a 720p file
3 - have another user access the samba share and play or transfer files.
4 - ZDMC audio and video will go out of sync. then audio will drop out then it will fix dropout again to get back in sync.

if there is a way to give HDD Priortiy to ZDMC over the Samba server?

hi i have the x9s box with the 1.2.6 firmware.

whe i try to play 1080p hevc fiels i get stuttering video and sound.

what can i do? is a setting problem?

Hi, does this box support touch and multi-touch input?

I use bluetooth apple magic trackpad on my note3, touch input work very well, but so far none of my android tv box support touch input.

Sound Problem DTS HD and Dolby True HD

Hello, I have a problem with my Zidoo his X9S.
I have a sound bar that accepts LG Dolby Digital and DTS SPDIF.
So I connected my sound bar in the SPDIF Zidoo X9s and make adjustments in ZDMC.
The tracks sound in DTS and Dolby Digital are well recognized by the sound bar but the DTS HD or Dolby True HD runs out in PCM 2.0.
I also have the X6 Zidoo pro who me he converted to Dolby Digital or DTS.
I try all possible settings on X9s but nothing works.
Could you help me ?

It seems most of the tv box have Sound device manager, but in settings missing...

Goodmorning everyone,
I am extremely happy with my zidoo x9s.
I only have a problem with playing HEVC mkv file.

With the media player playing the original file is divided in half on the diagonal and the colors are distorted.

Stuck on hello

Hi new box it worked for a couple of hours got kodi setup tried to play a show and the box blacked screened on me. On reboot all i get on the led screen is "boot" then "hello" and it wont boot up has anyone any ideas?

even after the latest update , unfortunately still ;
- color regression (when changing resolution to 1080p 60hz on a 4K tv and restarting the box)
- the box boots up by itself after switching on the main power plug for all other electrical appliances connected to a power extension.
- playback stutter on the default YouTube app which many people prefer as compared to the YouTube android tv version , which is playing smoothly.

-The USB mouse fails a lot (I tried several), it´s horrible to work with it
-When I connect the mouse disappears Android keyboard
-Not work Clan (a streaming video application for kids) not even Youtube Kids
-Not work Torrent on Openwrt
-Not work CEC
-In my case, at put the SD card as internal memory has been damaged (twice) and no longer recognize or windows or android (it was a new Sandisk Ultra 32GB class 10)

If switch default display frame rate different from 60Hz, 30/60 switch frame rate don't work.
In ZDMC all work correctly.

Just wondered if Zidoo will offer X6 owners a discount code for ordering the new X8 or X9? I still have faith in Zidoo but I am more than ready for a new device.
