Hey guys, a few days I received my new Zidoo X9S ago, I have been all weekend on trying to set for IPTV through Kodi (ZDMC), also with Perfect Player with Prog TV, but now I'm a little disappointed. With all the TV images in normal quality they look good, but when I connect a channel full HD 1080, it is impossible, always the image with cuts, slow ...

The only application that I can watch TV IPTV perfectly FullHD 1080 is with IPTV app for android playing with MX Player, but of course, that...

Has anybody been able to output DTS:X?
My Denon AVR shows the output as DTS HD-MA for titles that I know are DTS:X, they work fine on Nvidia Shield.

Is it possible to use X9S through a remote interface (i.e. something like webui on Dreambox) both in lan and oustide to manage NAS activities/plugin management/media center updating/... ?
Dunno if this can be done just with some specific APKs or need an inner development.

Is it possible to Cast a screen from a laptop or an android phone to the Zidoo?

I've tried Miracast, EZCast, and Google Cast. All of them seem to be set up to cast FROM the Zidoo TO an Android TV or Chromecast. I'd like to do the opposite - to cast from my laptop (using the Chrome browser on Win10), or from my Android phone and have it show up on my Zidoo X5, which is plugged into my TV.

The X5 product page talks about "Easy Cast," but I don't see the app anywhere.

A bug! my config like this:
The audio passthrough by S/PDIF：
Set 1: Settings→Sound & notification→S/PDIF output: RAW
Set2: Settings→Playback→Force donwmix audio
When x9s rebooted，the DTS audio will become 2way output by S/PDIF port every time. Must try step2 again ,then it works well. it looks like step2 not saved when reboot. please corrent this bug!

hi i have the x9s box with the 1.2.6 firmware.

whe i try to play 1080p hevc fiels i get stuttering video and sound.

what can i do? is a setting problem?

Hello everyone,

We just put a X9S language localization project on the Google Docs.

All the strings of all the APPs from X9S have been there. APPs are involed with Launcher,Filemanager,APK installer,Weather,Videoplayer,Theater,HDMI in, and what not.

I always get "unfornately has stopped" on my Zidoo X9S when open my apps

By the way my apps when i use it is "Firstmedia X"

Dear All,
Windows 10 supports the function "wireless mirror screen" miracast.
I start the App "Miracast" on X5, then my PC-Win10 sees Zidoo in the list of "Wireless screen Devices" and I can choose "connect "... But it does it rarely and when it does the Tv screen turns black. It looks like X5 doesn't support the miracast from Windows10. There is a solution for this?
ZidooX5 firmware version is: 1.0.9

There is some risk for flashing your ZIDOO_X9S BOX, please be quite careful to make it.(It will clean out user data entirely, if you are not professional,please be cautious to do it.)

Hi guys ,

Just got my X9s and very disappointed to see that it is not working with my new Samsung SUHD TV. When connected through HDMI I can see the boot screen then loses HDMI output.

However , if I connect to an old Sony TV through HDMI it is working properly.

Any idea what I can do to get it working on my new Samsung TV?

some body find it can not to access external storage in android6.0 for some apk, there is a setting option to do it.

1. open the android setting

I did the 1.2.4 update a few days ago with no problem. I had my zidoo x9 off for the last two days as I was watching dvd's on my blu ray player and the share the same connection to the tv. today I hooked it back to the tv and turned it on. I am getting a popup that says.

Also the wifi is not working, not finding any signals. but all my other devices find the wifi router.
